COLTON SCHOLTEC
FOUNDER & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Colton Scholtec began his career in the audio/video industry at just 16 years old, developing a passion for technology, design, and the art of creating environments where technology becomes part of the experience.
After gaining early industry experience with Future Shop and Ultimate Electronics, Colton founded his own integration company at the age of 25. Over the years, he has worked across commercial, residential, and government projects throughout Utah and Idaho. He graduated cum laude from the International Academy of Design and Technology, further developing his background in design and technology.
For the past 20 years, his focus has been on the design and integration of technology systems for high-end luxury estates, working with homeowners, builders, architects, and design professionals to create sophisticated and highly integrated living environments. With more than three decades in the industry, Colton brings hands-on experience, technical knowledge, design expertise, and an understanding of what it takes to deliver complex projects at the highest level.
Off Grid Solutions Integration is the next chapter in that journey. As Founder and CEO, Colton is expanding his experience in luxury technology integration into power storage and management, solar energy, and intelligent energy solutions—bringing together the technologies that modern Baja properties increasingly depend upon.
His vision for OGSI is simple: combine world-class technology integration with local Baja expertise to make properties more comfortable, connected, efficient, and energy independent.

CHAD SCHOLTEC
CHIEF STRATEGY OFFICER
Chad Scholtec brings more than 25 years of experience in the audio/video and technology integration industry, with a career spanning hands-on installation, field leadership, system commissioning, design, sophisticated control systems, and strategic account management.
Chad began his career in 2000, working alongside his brother, Colton Scholtec, at FutureTech. Starting as a technician and advancing to Foreman, he developed his foundation in the field—learning firsthand what it takes to turn complex designs into reliable, intuitive systems. That experience continues to shape the way he approaches projects today: technology must not only be well designed, it must perform exceptionally well in the real world.
Over the course of his career, Chad expanded his expertise across the entire technology project lifecycle, from installation and commissioning through system design, project coordination, and client strategy. He holds both the CTS-D (Certified Technology Specialist – Design) and CTS-I (Certified Technology Specialist – Installation) credentials, reflecting a combination of design knowledge and practical implementation experience.
Throughout his career, Chad has worked closely with clients, designers, engineers, contractors, and technology professionals to translate complex requirements into systems that are intuitive, reliable, and aligned with the way each space is intended to function. Those experiences reinforced a philosophy that continues to guide his work today: the best technology projects begin by understanding the client, not by selecting the equipment.
As Chief Stragety Officer of Off Grid Solutions Integration, Chad brings that client-first philosophy to the luxury residential and commercial market in Baja. His focus is understanding how each property will be lived in, what the homeowner wants to accomplish, and how technology can enhance the experience while remaining thoughtfully integrated into the architecture.
Whether coordinating energy, lighting, connectivity, entertainment, security, or control, Chad approaches technology as part of a larger environment. He works with clients and project teams to translate lifestyle, architectural, and performance requirements into a clear technology strategy that can be carried from early planning through final commissioning.
With more than two decades of technical and client-facing experience, Chad bridges the gap between sophisticated technology and the people who ultimately live with it—helping OGSI create homes that are more intuitive, connected, resilient, and enjoyable to live in.
His approach is simple: understand the client first, then design the technology around the way they want to live.

CALAN SCHOLTEC
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Calan Scholtec began his career in the technology integration industry at the age of 15, joining his father, Colton Scholtec, in 2017 and working on high-end residential systems.
Starting in the field gave Calan a hands-on understanding of what it takes to install, troubleshoot, program, and complete sophisticated technology systems in luxury homes. As his skills and experience developed, he progressed into a Lead Technician role, taking on greater responsibility for installations and field teams.
Calan eventually moved into Project Management, where he became responsible for coordinating projects, technicians, schedules, installations, and the many moving parts required to successfully deliver complex residential systems.
He has also trained and mentored multiple technicians, helping develop skilled professionals and establish consistent standards for quality and installation.
Today, as Chief Operating Officer of Off Grid Solutions Integration, Calan brings nearly a decade of hands-on integration experience and a practical understanding of projects from the field level through completion.
His experience spans technology installation, system programming, networking, troubleshooting, technician training, and project management.
As OGSI expands into power management, energy storage, solar, and complete property integration, Calan's focus is on building the operational systems, teams, and processes necessary to deliver consistently high-quality projects throughout Baja.

DEANNA SCHNIDER
LEGAL COUNCIL I SYSTEM PROGRAMMING I SYSTEM DESIGN
Deanna Schnider brings a unique combination of legal experience, technical knowledge, systems programming, and design expertise to Off Grid Solutions Integration.
Deanna attended Walla Walla Community College before continuing her education at Lewis-Clark State College, where she earned an Associate of Applied Science with a focus in Legal Secretary and Paralegal Studies, graduating cum laude at the age of 20.
She entered the paralegal profession immediately after college and has continued working in the legal field throughout her career, developing extensive experience and ultimately becoming a legal consultant.
In 2019, Deanna joined Colton professionally, expanding her role beyond legal work into the technology and systems-integration side of the business. Since then, she has worked alongside Colton in legal counsel, systems programming, and technical design drafting.
This combination of disciplines gives Deanna a unique perspective within OGSI. She understands both the organizational and legal requirements of a business and the technical details involved in designing and documenting sophisticated technology systems.
As Legal Counsel, Deanna helps provide the legal and organizational foundation for OGSI as the company grows in Mexico.
Her technical role also contributes to system programming, technical documentation, and design drafting, helping turn complex technology concepts into organized, documented, and implementable systems.

LUIS CINCO
MARKETING & LOGISTICS
Luis Cinco brings a deep understanding of Baja, its communities, and the people who live and work throughout the peninsula.
Luis began his professional career serving in the Mexican military, gaining discipline, organizational skills, and experience that would become valuable throughout his career. Following his military service, he joined Monster Energy, where he was responsible for sales and marketing activities throughout Baja.
His career has continued to be closely connected to the region. Luis currently works as a commercial and sport fisherman, giving him firsthand knowledge of Baja's coastal communities, local businesses, ports, transportation, and the unique logistical realities of working throughout the peninsula.
That local experience is an important part of what Luis brings to Off Grid Solutions Integration.
As Marketing & Logistics, Luis helps OGSI develop relationships within the Baja community while supporting the coordination of projects, materials, vendors, transportation, and local resources.
For OGSI, having someone who understands Baja from the inside is invaluable. Luis helps connect our technology and engineering capabilities with the local knowledge, relationships, and practical experience necessary to successfully execute projects throughout Baja.
EDGAR CINCO
ENGINEERING & SYSTEM DESIGN
Edgar Cinco brings a strong technical and engineering background to Off Grid Solutions Integration, with experience ranging from hands-on field service to engineering within the technology industry.
After attending [College/University — Year], Edgar began his professional career as a Service Technician with Hobart, developing valuable hands-on experience troubleshooting, servicing, and maintaining sophisticated commercial equipment and systems.
He later joined Sony Corporation, where he worked as an Engineer, expanding his technical experience and gaining exposure to the engineering, design, and technology principles required to support complex systems.
That combination of field experience and engineering knowledge is a natural fit for OGSI.
As Engineering & System Design, Edgar works to translate the needs of each property into practical, reliable, and thoughtfully engineered solutions. His role encompasses the technical planning and integration of the various systems that make up an OGSI project, including power management, energy storage, solar, networking, automation, and other integrated technologies.
Edgar's approach reflects an important part of the OGSI philosophy: technology should not simply be installed—it should be engineered to work together.
His technical background, combined with Luis Cinco's local Baja knowledge and the broader experience of the OGSI team, helps the company deliver solutions designed specifically for the unique requirements of properties throughout Baja.
